Hi

How that custom MP3 work? i had some mp3 files and rename them to numbers and put in same place as rom but i sitll hear music from game not mp3 file

Oh and i never find anything called mednafen-doomday mod.

This feature works only in "mednafen doomday edition" emulator:
You can get it here:
version 'D2' (5 Jan 2021): 0948d2.7z
verison '8G' (9 Jun 2019): mednafen_09_Jun_2019

The other way is to use emulator that support "sega-cd mode1" (not done for RR3 yet).
This works in Kega Fusion (cue+mp3), RetroArch+gpgx(cue+ogg), and blastem-nightly(cue+bin) or hardware.
But Kega Fusion don't have overclock and network play in this mode.
For Retroarch you need to convert tracks to ogg, and if you want use overclock in netplay, you need modified gpgx core. Because settings via .cfg file incorreclty works in netplay.
For Blastem you need create audio cd image in bin format. It doesn't support mp3 or wav.

Speaking of hacking Road Rash to correct bugs, I am wondering if anyone knows about why Road Rash II glitches after the final round pitting you against the officers, and how that can be corrected?

This bug exists in "REV00" and fixed in "REV02" rom.

Updated Road Rash 3 Improvement, it's now also support sega-cd too.

How to make a right cue for Road Rash 3?
I take for examples cue from another mode1 games, but I don't figuring out how to make it work with RR3.
I use RA + GPGX. Patch ROM, make ogg music, make cue with them and still default music in game.

Make sure you're using patch 1.3 and *.cue have at least 5 tracks.
Does it work on Kega Fusion?
Also title music will be original, only in-race tracks played from CD.

Latest patch, cue have 7 tracks and still doesn't work even on Kega Fusion.
First of all, I don't buy tracks. Just find some way to download them. So, I don't have original cue for them, if they have it. But. like I said, I used cue from another mode1 games with ogg tracks (like RRR v16). Still no result in any emulator with ogg tracks. On Kega even with wav no result. With wav on GPGX just a loud noise in race.
Just try RRR v16 with your patch and audio pack with OGG. Works perfectly on GPGX.
Would be nice if Road Rash games have working audio packs like few other games.

I tried all the combinations: cue+mp3, cue+bin on Fusion and cue+ogg, cue+bin on Retroarch with OST files from RRR v16 and all variants worked for me.
BIOS - "Sega-CD Model 2 BIOS V2.11 (U) [!]"

Thank you for hint.
I also tried OGG tracks from RRR v16 with RR3 and they're working in GGXP. And I've start looking into details of tracks. Yours was 44.1 kHz and mine was 48 kHz. And that's why they don't play. Converting them into 44.1 kHz and now they're playing in race.
Thank you very much for your patch and your help! ::)
