How do I hard-code Game Genie codes to NES games using FCEUX?

Sorry for the noobish question but how do I hard-code Game Genie codes to NES games using FCEUX? I'm trying to do a hack of The Krion Conquest/Magical Doropie and I might want to hard-code "PEVGOIGA", a cheat that makes charge shots faster, and either "SXVLOIVG" (infinite lives) or "IAKAAPZA" (6 lives instead of 2 or 3).

Debug -> Hex Editor -> View -> ROM File -> Ctrl + G -> go to this address and change its value to "Value".



In case there are several "possible addresses", then it's trial and error I guess.
