I really hope someone could help me with this problem, I'm trying to get Super Mario 64 Split screen hack working on a flashdrive cartridge for my Nintendo 64 PAL region console.the hack creator says I must use this rom "Super Mario 64 (U) [!].z64" and hack it with the .bps mod which works on my pc fine but when I try it on my actual console the rom plays as a NTSC region and the screen is all glitchy/unplayable even though the game is running fine in the background. This rom "Super Mario 64 (Europe) (En,Fr,De).z64" works fine on my console but I am unable to hack this rom, a error coned up trying to apply. Bps file. Does anyone have any solutions to hack PAL region roms so they can work on PAL consoles using a flashdrive cartridge please?

Looks like your TV does not support 60hz, hence the messed up picture. When you boot up USA rom on PAL n64 via flashcard, it will run at the proper NTSC/60hz speed(there is minuscule difference, but its literally unnoticeable for 99% of people).

And the patch wont work on the PAL/EUR version since it was not made for that and theres too many differences even if you force it.

I dont think there are any other options other than playing it on screen/tv that supports 60hz, or somehow forcing 50hz output, its possible on some consoles but I dont know about n64.
