PS1<Tales of Destiny>uncompress?

I'm trying to sinicize the toddc of pS2 and also want to sinicize the TOD of PS1. But using "compto. Exe" to decompress and compress "m.dat" can't work. What should I do?

Can you provide some more details about exactly what programs you are working with?

Also, what do you mean by "can't work"? Do you get an error message? Does something unexpected happen?

Thank you! I use the Japanese version of "Tales of destiny", that is, after decompressing with "comptoe. Exe", only half of the text is decompressed, and the compressed capacity is either large or small. When I enter the game, It crashed.

What is comptoe.exe?  Where did you find it? Are you sure you are using it correctly?

This software seems to crack the "eternal legend", and the "Legend of destiny" seems to need to be transformed.

I think these tools does not work with the original ToD from PS1, only with the remake (and Director's Cut). I will probably check those someday but my queue is busy for a long while.

I plan to learn C language and then transform the source code. However, recently in the Sinicization of toddc, it has been shelved.
