Yo, ya'll. I'm considering making a patch that combines the title screen from darthvaderx (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/5612/) and all the cool bits and bobs from kuja killer (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/992/).

Tried Tile Layer Pro, but I figured that it wasn't gonna be enough. Figured I'd also have to go into the game's memory to arrange the tiles and colors. If ya'll are willing to give me tips and such, I'd be all ears.

I don't understand what you are trying to do that is already done? Please elaborate.

Megaman 3 Japanese Style Title Screen Update v2.22
QuoteDescription:
Update and improvement of the FlashPV hack http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3789/, which in turn incorporated the kuja killer hack http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/992/.

And what it does:

Updates the FlashPV hack to version 2.22 by Kuja Killer.
Redo the word 'Mega' from the title to conform to the other games in the series.
It is offered in two versions, with or without subtitles.
Returns the energy bar to its original position as in the other games, thanks to the G30FF tip.

Well, ya see, I wanted to use the new version of Kuja's hack: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/992/, which was upped this year, 2022, as a basis.

However, realized that if I were to do that, I'd have to also edit the memory to get the tiles in the right position and in the right colors. Sadly, I ain't got much finesse on that front.

So... what now? Well, by patching the rom with FlashPV's version (upped way back in 2017, which used an older version of Kuja's hack, before the 2022 update), I had the position and the colors all set. All I needed to do was transfer the tiles from darthvaderx's version, which was upped in 2020. Now vader's, while I'm in love with his title screen hacks, had people point out that his version of Mega Man 3's hack had some bugs, like the Gemini Laser not working properly. So I made myself a temporary version using FlashPV's as the basis, and darthvader's title.

Sorry I wasn't clear before.
