Replacing Yoshi's Island's sound effects?

I've had this question for a bit, how do you replace sound effects in Yoshi's Island SNES?
The reason I am asking is because I prefer the Yoshi's Story sound effects in the GBA port, but wish they were in; what I consider to be the superior version.  :P
So specifically, can you replace the sounds in the SNES sounds with the Yoshi's Story ones?

Y-You..... like the YOSHI STORY SOUNDS?

I-I.....

Is this real life?

Yeuuuss I do and I know that's surprising, I grew up with the GBA version after all, the SNES version feels a little less lifelike to me now.
Though they are still pretty interchangeable for me. T_T

Well to be clear, I know about BRR and SPC utilities,
I just want to know if what I'm specifically asking could work.

Still, any ideas?

That is a good thing to clarify when asking for help, yes.

If the BRR utilities don't work, then the samples are probably stored in some hopelessly obscure format that will have to be painstakingly reverse-engineered, assuming no one's done that already. (Maybe there was something applicable in one of the recent big data leaks? I know there was definitely some Yoshi's Island content there.)

Okay good start, but just to clarify, are you talking about the Yoshi's Story samples, or Yoshi's Island SNES ones?

Jorpho

Only the SNES uses BRR. I have no idea about the Yoshi's Story samples, but you can always just record the audio output of an emulator if you can't extract them directly.

Yes definitely I know that.

Though I have to mention that I am very much a newbie for romhacking, and I have 2 questions.
1: How exactly would I go about getting the BRR files, like, I know that's a surprising question, but I can't seem to figure it out currently. (Using the BRR GUI utility)
2: What method do I use for inputting sounds that aren't originally BRR files? As well as creating BRR files from other formats?

If none of the BRR utilities can find BRR samples in the ROM, then it probably doesn't use BRR samples. If you're not sure if you're using if correctly, then try the utility with another ROM. (The various versions of Street Fighter 2 all used BRR, I think?)

Don't these utilities provide a means of converting WAV to BRR?

Nah, for some reason, BRR GUI has a BRR to WAV, instead of WAV to BRR.

I suppose I'll just have to make the other utilities with Python.

Thanks for all the help, I'll figure it out myself.
