This hack of Super Mario World is now available, in which you can choose between Mario and Luigi, as in Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 (also known as Super Mario Bros .: The Lost Levels), it also allows you to see the status bar at the Donkey Kong Country Returns style for Nintendo Wii, and also allows you to automatically save your progress after completing Switch Palaces, Ghost Houses, Fortresses and Castles.

Nice additions. Does this fix the sprite errors Luigi has that were introduced in All-Stars?
As far as I can remember in vanilla All-Stars he becomes Mario when crouching while mounting Yoshi and also when running up slopes.
There may be other such errors, though.

The 1.2 version patch is not working, online patching reports a wrong CRC sum for an already verified and unheadered file with SHA-1 sum of: 6b47bb75d16514b6a476aa0c73a683a2a4c18765

The resulting patched file opens with a wrong CRC error message and stays on a black screen on SNES9x 1.60 on Windows 10.

Flips v1.31 reports that "This patch is no intended for this RUM" and doesn't patch the file.

Can someone please confirm and fix if possible? I can't find any way to report it back to the patch author as he/she doesn't have a forum account. Thanks in advance.

Maybe the ROM needs to be expanded with Lunar Magic?
If it's not that, I had no luck patching either.

It's intended to be used in the headered rom (CRC32 A31BEAD4). Also you can add a header to the unheadered rom, the patcher will say error, but the rom will work. (Beat recommended)

The description page states nothing about the patch requiring a headered ROM file. So all my issues were for that reason.

The CRC I get is CRC32: 2C36C43E for the headered ROM file (used TUSH to add the header to the already verified ROM).

Once I applied the patch, SNES9x 1.60 reports a correct CRC on the patched ROM and the game plays perfectly.

Make sure your ROM has a header. If it doesn't have one, use a tool such as NSRT to add a header to your ROM.

Also, use this to check if your ROM's hashes are the same as the ones in the hack's page.
