« on: December 05, 2021, 03:12:09 am »
Hi there, I got this crazy idea of playing the legendary wings game for gba, with a female pilot instead, I manage to extract the pilot sprites (Both sides british and german) and edit them, but require some help to put them back on the game.

Any help that could be provide will be gratefull.
Here is the file with just the images I edited. (If wants to give thema look)

For starters, what exactly are you talking about? Not this Legendary Wings, surely? Do you mean Wings Advance?

So what exactly did you use to extract them?
This signature is an illusion and is a trap devised by Satan. Go ahead dauntlessly! Make rapid progres!

Yeah, I mean the Wings Advance for GBA, I use a tool called Oam Viewer and the Map Viewer from the "VisualBoyAdvace", to extract them directly from the gameplay. ;D

Fortunately the graphics are not compressed, so you can edit them directly with a tool like TileLayerPro or YYCHR.net. Do the following:

* Save the OBJ palette when you have the pilot sprite on-screen (use the Palette viewer in VBA)
* Open a graphics editor and load the .pal file you saved
* The pilot graphics (back of head) seem to start at 0x112A48 in the ROM - scroll down or jump down to it
* Make your edits once you find it

Hope that helps! Good luck with your project.
