Sorry, I'd still need a value to search for to use your tool.
I think updating what goes on the Command List is going to be impossible. I'm thinking of just replacing each class's "event" weapons (the Treasured Weapons, Father's Weapons, and the Marr Weapons) instead of using the unused 4 items and trying to update what can go on the Command List.
Naturally, this has 2 drawbacks:
1. I can only add 3 weapons per tribe instead of four. I learned I can actually use any weapon model for any tribe (Like a Spear on a Clavat instead of a Sword), so I originally wanted to add one of each to each tribe.
2. The weapon list will have to be shuffled and will look disorganized in-game. The weapons I'm making are alternatives to endgame weapons, so I can't let them be acquired too early. The events that give the Treasured and Marr Weapons occur way too early and will need to be swapped in the list for weapons with more appropriate stats. Thankfully, most equipment isn't in drop lists, they are crafted, so I'll just have to update recipies.
I could try to change what items the events give instead of reordering the weapon lists, but the events occur randomly after certain in-game years, and I have no real way to find them, let alone test them.
Should I just upload my notes on stuff I found out about the game and consider this project a failure?

So, as I was looking to upload my notes, I realized I forgot to note down the Spell Fusion data. I found that table in ROM awhile ago at 001F94EA, but I just noticed there are entries for single Magicite Spells. I thought, "Huh, that seems pointless. The Magic Stones themselves already have that data." Then I thought, "That can't be the entries for the Command List, can it?" So I find the fusion table in RAM and scroll up a bit, and I find a familiar looking pattern and change the first value. Surely enough, the Copper Sword, the usual first entry in the Command List, disappeared from the Command List. The Command List entries for weapons in ROM starts at 001F9285.
Why must I find this stuff when I feel my defeat is assured?
