Added a link to the ongoing Mega Man III DX project by Tails Gaming Power. Make sure to check it out!

In my opinion, colorisation of Mega Man III DX is less good than Mega Man V DX.

By the way, I already find two examples (Made by Kindlypatrick) for a Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 DX into full colorization.

Thank you for Amazing Penguin DX! I played it before (mono) but stopped after several rounds. Now I must try it again because it's a fun one.

minucce quietly released a bunch of GBC autoboot hacks awhile back
https://github.com/minucce-yard/Konami_GB_Collection/blob/autoboot_hacks/---%20%20Konami%20GB%20Collection%20%20---%20%5Balpha%200.1%5D.7z?raw=true

They come with some flicker bug fixes and SGB borders + palettes. I didn't notice any major problems even if they're tagged alpha 0.1, other than vanilla game flicker. Usable in all GB, SGB, GBC, SGBC modes. Soft reset works also. Pretty amazing. Wonder why it wasn't uploaded to RHDN.

Since EvilJagaGenius mentioned Turrican, these are some mockups I did years ago, one C64 style, the other Amiga style. Since these were done years ago, they prolly don't adhere to the GBC's palette limitations (though sprite stacking can help), but they could be something to get inspired by I guess.

I came across this one for Final Fantasy Adventure. To my knowledge, it's the first public and decent attempt at colorizing this game. I guess it is still in alpha/beta, I played for a few mins and I could spot some color inaccuracies here and there.

The maker is "Daid", who is also behind the LADXR randomizer. Please find the links to both the Discord message and the IPS patch below:

So uh... that discord link doesn't include an invite, so it's dead to anyone who isn't in whatever server this is, and a cursory google search turns up a webcomic repository as the base site this file is hosted on and no information on this patch. Googling for the creators name and "Final Fantasy Adventure" turns up a page on a weird LADX + FFA combination randomizer and nothing on the colorization project. That page has a link to his github, where I could find no trace of this project either. I'm not doubting you, but is there *any* information on this anywhere outside of this unknown discord channel you're a member of? I'm thrilled at the prospect of a colorized FFA, but I'd like at least a *little* more info on it if possible.

I found the Discord link invite on this page (the LADXR Randomizer page): https://daid.github.io/LADXR/

The Discord invite link is: https://discord.gg/XTw7X2G

The hack is being discussed in the "ladxr-development" channel once you are a member (most of the latest posts are talking about it). Sorry, this is all I can give you! Below is a screenshot of the patched game.

Credit for the FFA game, the screenshot below and the patch goes to their respective owners/creators. I'm only a messenger here.

Thanks for the elaboration! I checked out the discord myself and gave the patch a whirl. It's not perfect, but it's a damn sight better than it is in plain old black and white/gameboy green. The person working on it seems to have a rather good background of understanding coding and game balance and such, so I have no doubt he'll end up with a great finished product by the time he's officially finished with it. For the time being though, it's a solid patch and worth adding to your collection. I've tucked it into my hoard and even if it's never updated again, it's good enough for me.

We are working on a complete Color hack for FFA with Xenophile, Daid and Arathron.  A complete color hack is still a long way to go, but eventually we'll get there. This will also be used for the upcoming hack Ember of Mana (https://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=34054.msg424168#msg424168). You can also find some screenshots there of the colors we intend to use.

It could be better with a little more different colors but if it will be colorized a little like Zelda: Link's Awakening DX or Super Mario Land 2 DX, it will be already perfect

By the way, don't forget each sprites (Characters, enemies, bosses, etc...) must have different colors.

Please add this one to the GBC to GBA enhancement hacks! Thanks! :)

I don't really count this as an improvement hack. It doesn't alter the gameplay at all, and it doesn't do anything that an emulator can't already do (I believe mGBA forces GBA modes for GBC games by default). Plus, those bright colors look rough, to say the least. I can't recommend that someone play Mega Man Xtreme 2 in a washed-out palette.

I know that probably comes off as really rude, but I'm not trying to be. I just don't think it warrants a spot on the list, though I commend your effort to create/help create it for those that want it.

Once that Final Fantasy Adventure colorization hack is done, I might finally give the Sword of Mana rebrand a try in proper color :D And hopefully with a proper Sword of Mana title screen too.

It's one game I've been eager to try, and one I really hoped would get a colorization project down the line...
Nice to see that there's interest in colorizing it!

Will be it possible for all different language versions, please? Thanks.

The entire Donkey Kong Land series is now in full color!

The list has been updated to reflect that.

On a more personal note, I'm super excited to finally give these three games a try.
