[FF6 SNES] Modifying Slot Speed?
« on: July 19, 2021, 08:13:43 pm »
I'm aware of using the Pause button to help set the reels where you want them to, as well as various 'de-rigging' methods (Echo Screen, etc.) and patches for altering the 'rigging' code (in fact I've already applied said patches).

However, my eyes are just not what they used to be, and the Slots have basically become a complete blur (when I first played the game all those years ago, I didn't have this problem).  I'd really rather not constantly mash the Pause button until I've gotten a reel where I want it to be, so I was curious if anyone's already done work/made a patch for altering the speed at which the reels spin, or if not then where I might start looking into editing that code for myself.

I might just have to use the "speed +/-" functions on the emulator if there's nothing out there, but if someone knows anything about previous work done on this particular part of the game I'd greatly appreciate learning about it.
