Try searching the utilities section for hex editors (the reviews may be helpful). For general GFX editing you could try Tile Layer Pro or Tile Molester.

There might be some game-specific docs/tools if you search around. You might find extra info by looking through the board or other relevant sites.

Hallo. I hope its okay to make a new post with this type of content inside.

Anyhow, the reason why making this thread is because one of my favorites on the NES 'Little Nemo - The Dream Master' unfortunately has an annoying flickering glitch line that sits between the game world and the game's interface. When the game is running this line is a real eye catcher because it contracts/expands continually.

I lost my original copy (EU), so I cannot confirm 100% that it's not an emulation issue, but I did try out a bunch of emulators that showed the same. So, it seems to be an ROM issue, at least.

I'd be a joy to be able to play the game with this glitch removed. If somebody has the passion and skill to make an IPS improvement fix, then that would be real nice.

Stanley: The Search for Dr. Livingston - Tighter controls and hit detection, and somewhat weaker initial enemies would do a lot for this one.

Has anyone heard of Mario Super Picross for the Super Famicom? That game has a lot of puzzles and text in Japanese; I wonder if it's possible to do an English translation, without redoing the whole game obviously.

Idea for various SMB3 and SMW games: Super Mario 64 caps replacement.
Basically replaces an item with a cap that pops out of the item box and flutters down to the ground, sitting there for mario to pick up and giving an equal or similar to that of Mario 64.
Capless Mario for small Mario
His normal cap for Super Mushroom
Wing Cap for Leaf or Feather
Metal Cap for Star
Vanish Cap for Flower...

Well, whoever picks this idea does as they wish, I'd say.

THIS, and as well giving her proper death scenes. Crash got burned, sliced, got his pants cutted, etc. But Coco? Only angel death animation... Why so afraid, Sony?

Let's get comical with her death animations!
Coco when burnt? Black silhouette. eyes only. like saying: "WTH, player?"
Coco when squashed? Shoes and her laptop, moving comically.
Coco when sliced? Either A. Her laptop gets sliced. B. She tries her best to not letting her torso fall, as opposed with Crash where his torso falls entirely.
Coco when sliced(again)? Well, Crash got pantsless, so... Her overalls are cut and she covers with her laptop? (I'm trying to think the best outcomes without being labeled as a pervert.) As well to comically hit the swordsman with such laptop, for being a pervert.

Those are awesome ideas for Coco, I wish Sony and Activision did that with the remake.

Another Crash hack that I want to see is one for Crash Team Racing that will make Nitrous Oxide a fully playable racer.

A mega patch that combines these Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX patches:

But on the Rev B (or 1.2 in some versions) version of the No-Intro Link' Awakening DX rom. This part I'm extremely picky about, and is because every rom is different every time.

I'd like to see a Restoration patch for The Peace Keepers for the SNES, because a lot of stuff was removed and changed for the Western release of the game, where it was known as Rushing Beat Shura in Japan. Or if possible, translations of both Rushing Beat Ran or Shura, since Rushing Beat 1 already has a patch.

I would like to see a English translation hack for the Japanese version of Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, the reason I want to see this is because this version was released 11 days after the American version and they were able to improved the game a lot in that version:

I'm not sure if these ideas were done, but here goes: How about Fang the Sniper/Nack the Weasel and/or Rouge the Bat in Sonic 1, 2, and 3? I know a Shadow, Amy, Charmy, Sally, maybe Bunnie, and even Motobug ones were done, but I have yet to see either of these two hacked into those games.
