Does anyone fancy seeing if they can either unlock (or even better, extract as a standalone game as with Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man here) the excellent Time Pilot 95 bonus game from Ganbare Goemon 4 on SNES?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkTz16LQjHY

Normally you have to 100% complete the entire game (no small feat, as it's many hours long and full of secrets and sidequests and whatnot) although there definitely is an unlock cheat - I unlocked it by accident once while just flailing around hitting random controls on the menu screen. But I've spent months trying to recreate that accident, and searching everywhere I could find for the code, to no avail. Would be super-grateful.

I play with RAM and I fall on CONGRATULATIONS 100% SCREEN  , the game makes a SRAM's save 00% with time pilot 95 playable

That's most kind, but as I said on the original thread, I already have a save file that works on the PC but they're no good on the other (Retroarch) formats I want to play Time Pilot on :(

You know, there have been many re-translations of badly translated games, but I really want someone to do a retranslation of this game called Robotrek aka Slapstick. The game seems quirky, and I feel the translation needs a huge overhaul.

How about a hack of Shining Force III that makes the A.I more agressive? Heck I wouldn't mind that for any of the games in the series. So frustrating having to slowly inch towards the enemy every round because they either just stand idle or move back and forth one square.

Noside

Picking the same character multiple times in Alien vs. Predator beat em' up Arcade, for example, 3 Predator Warriors with different color palletes.

Here's another ROM Hack idea, this time to celebrate Kirby's 30th Anniversary: A ROM Hack of Kirby Super Star (also known as Kirby of the Stars Super Deluxe in Japan and Kirby's Fun Pak in Europe) for SNES (Super Famicom in Japan) that adds the Spring Breeze title theme from the Nintendo DS remake, adds remixes of the Boss and Game Over music from Kirby's Dream Land to Spring Breeze, adds unused remixes of the Castle Lololo and Shooting (based on Core Kabula's boss theme from Kirby Planet Robobot) music from Kirby's Dream Land (as well as an unused remix of Kirby's Adventure's title theme) to the Sound Test along with adding the above three tracks and reordering the music listing, and alters the rest area music to mostly use The Great Cave Offensive's rest area music with the exception of the rest area prior to Marx using the Dyna Blade's Nest music. It's kind of a "what-if" regarding if Kirby Super Star had been delayed in Japan, but by a couple of months before release, as well as releasing in North America and Europe in their respective intended years.

I don't know what you've tried, but while savestates might not be portable between different emulators, saveram can usually be copied around one way or another.

But it looks like one of the above posters has supplied a patch anyway?

It works! I LOVE YOU!

(It pretends not to - the other bonus game shows in the Arcade menu but TP95 doesn't - but it's fully selectable and playable. I've wanted this for SO long, thank you very very much  :woot!: :D)

I tried absolutely everything I could think of with both savestates and SRAM files. But different emulators don't even save the same size of SRAM file. Some of the ones for this game were 32KB, some were 8KB. But the patch works, so problem solved  :)

As I talked about PC-Engine games into MSU the latest time. Why can't we call it HuCard2CD? :)

In some cases like that, you can manually trim the SRAM file to the appropriate size, or pad it out.

Well, maybe for next time.

Honestly, I would love to just see a Megaman X hack where X and Zero are anthros. Maybe X is a dog or a bird (like Rush or Beat) with Zero being something cool. Honestly... X always gave me really uncomfortable, sickening vibes. A human going around and killing animals: plus as the series progresses, the world never seems to get better. I always felt like the villain: like someone who's just wiping out all of the animal kingdom for selfish human gain. Even if that's not what the story wants me to believe, that is always how it felt.

Honestly, I'd play a hack with an anthro version of X and Zero, even if that's the only change. It would make the feel of the game feel more ballanced and less anti-environment/anti-nature for me.

We all know the game is bad,but I got ideas to fix the gamw's problems.
A hack of the SNES Lord of the Rings game to have SRAM saving (instead of passwords), fully AI controlled partners and double EXP drops with AI partner chacaters share the same exp. Also fully AI controlled partners.

I believe the morning sun, always gonna shine again.

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (GBA): A hack that will replace Phan Phan with Rolling Turtle.

Are you a fan of SNES Drunk? They reviewed the game just this morning/last night.

Why not just use the PC version? Especially since Vol 2 was never released for the SNES?

ETA: The aforementioned SNESDrunk video suggests that the games are completely different.

Why not a Quest 64 hack that adds in all of the cutscenes from Quest: Brian's Journey? Since they're basically the same game and all...

I'm a first-time poster, and am really thankful for these romhacks and the people working on them. I'm going to have to start writing down my ideas for romhacks, instead of just forgetting them. Here are a few ideas off the top of my head.

GBA - Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance & PSX Symphony of the Night
Minor change so that the sub weapon counter (For holy-water, crosses, throwing knives etc.) doesn't rapidly flash. This has gotten temporarily burnt into my TV and PC monitor before.

Ditto for the rapidly-flashing mini-map in Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission.

GBA - Sonic Advance 1: Checkpoints can now take you to the bonus stage if you have 50 rings. The large bonus-spings are either replaced by checkpoints, or simply just "exist" now.

SNES - Darius Force/Super Nova. Always start with single-hit shield, even after death.

I'd really love for someone to make a patch for Gameboy Wars 3 to remove the mobile communication stuff. I'd like to play it on my 3DS but I believe the game's communication is incompatible with the 3DS virtual console as it brings up an error when booting the game. If someone could figure out a way to do that, I'd be eternally grateful
