A new bugfix for Suikoden (PSX).

Along with everything that Pyriel already fixed:

-Clean up the entire script to read much more smoothly.

-Switch the names of Earth and Wind Rune Pieces (as per the Tablet of Stones).

-Fix a glitch where someone might replace someone else (such as Pahn replacing Gremio, Gremio replacing Tir, or Ted replacing Cleo).  (This tends to happen only randomly when you load a save file, so it won't be all too easy to actually replicate, but it only happened to me several times early in the game (no further than Kwaba).)

-Fix Marco's coin game to run on the same RNG as everything else, instead of its own that gets reset whenever you quit and play again.

-Eliminate the "sweet spot" in chinchirorin (mentioned in the series' Game Breaker page on TV Tropes, under "General").

-Correct the entry points on the first balcony in Moravia Castle.

-Enable the Holy element in battle for Fukien's Punishment and Viktor's Star Dragon Sword.

-Anything else you might aware of.

Here's another hack idea, this one based on Patcher64+'s concept of adding a female protagonist to Ocarina of Time (mainly Aria): A hack of Majora's Mask where Aria is the lead character, and like Link before her, she can transform into Deku, Goron, Zora, and Fierce Deity forms using the coresponding masks, with two female characters specifically made to replace Darmani and Mikau.

The title says it all. Take the scripts of the DS versions of Dragon Quest V-VI, and port them to the SNES versions.

With similar attempts made to Final Fantasy installments for the NES and SNES, and Dragon Quest installments for the NES, I find it hard to believe that the SNES installments for Dragon Quest have yet to receive the same treatment.

Such script ports would make a nuanced merger of both worlds: a modern day localization, with the game's console debut of origin.

So, um, grain of salt boys, I'm not a very serious guy but if I could do it I would put serious work into the following nonsense:

Paul Stanley's Love Gun (Doom)

You are Paul, because I think his duck face and star nonsense is funniest, you go abouts the map finding folks who are doing basically anything but having a good time. Shoot them with the Love Gun, instead of dying they're dancing. Soccer moms coming at you because your lyrics, bible thumpers upset over the imagery, random kiss fans upset the band got old and is really probably breaking up soon for realsies this time. That sort of nonsense. Obviously the music is Kiss.  Lol I just think it'd be silly stupid fun. If I could make it I would but I'd make it short. Pretty much Paul trying to find his car keys or some stupid.

Jet Grind Streets (Streets of Rage 2)

Beat and co in Streets of Rage except he doesn't actually hurt anyone. He paints them, like in his game, and when he defeats an enemy they stand there doing that stupid fun random reaching bull like in Jet Grind.

Tearaway Thomas in Sonic 1 self explanatory. The fella from Cinos ought to get some love among all these rando characters from every corner of the sonic fandom. Dr. Oiram? Somari is bit crap. Thomas is where poking fun at Sonic and Mario is at.

And of course my last post. Holy Diver music in Holy Diver game...it's a duh. I have no clue why anyone would waste their time doing stuff like making Randy purple and calling him Dio when playing the game properly requires external music. Who plays Holy Diver without listening to Holy Diver the album? Heretics that's who. So before there's anymore pointless Holy Diver hacks how about one that actually makes the game more Dio for real?

A hack for Castlevania Circle Of The Moon which enables dash boots from the start and makes DDS card drops more common

How about a hack of Power Moves so it sucks less?

Specifically, press up to jump, jump button instead makes you jump between the top and bottom of the play area creating two distinct "layers", and expand story mode to allow 3 characters.

Yeah, basically turn it into poor man's Fatal Fury.

Hack title... "Power Moves: Things Get Deadly". ;P

Hello. Apologies for my first post being a request (I'm a bit more active on Discord than on forums of any kind), but here goes.

Game: Super Mario Bros 2 / Lost Levels (either FDS original or on SMAS+SMW version for the SNES, the former would be preferable)
Type: Improvement
Description: The hack requested in theory should disable any requirements for acessing worlds 9 and A-D, therefore enabling fully linear progression through the game without the need of replaying or without locking out world 9 if the player accidentally finds themselves in a warp zone. So, upon patching, the game would enable a player to go through worlds 1-8, 9 and A-D in one succession prior to ending.

Thank you kindly in advance for considering to help me.

Game Boy Double Dragon hack which adds color and puts mid-level checkpoints back in the game

Mario 3: Duplicate powerup hack

When you grab a powerup that is the same as your current powerup, it goes to your inventory. I always thought the lack of this in the original game was frustrating. An option would be to have it NOT do this, if your inventory already has 28 items.

Booze Goodyear

A "blood patch" for the SNES version of Total Carnage that reverts most of the censored content.

Censored SNES version:

Uncensored Arcade version:

Basically, all the SNES version needs is a change of the colour palettes and the sprites.

ideas for projects for the big fans of Zelda in 8-bits

there are 2 games that are practically a new Zelda II and Zelda III with a graphic hack that changes the sprites to Zelda and the texts of the story.

Zelda fans on NES will have a new and better Zelda II / Zelda III with these graphic patches for these 2 RPG games

- Battle Of Olympus ( Zelda II graphic hack )
- Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II ( Zelda III graphic hack )

Notes of interest =

Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II was originally the engine for Zelda III cancelled in the late 80s to move the project to the Super NES, later its engine was used to create the game Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II game exclusively in 1994 for USA market.

Battle Of Olympus was based on the idea of the original Zelda II improving everything in the game, graphics, music and gameplay.

Unlike those who would prefer works like Redux, there are some people (myself included) who do think that the The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is perfect just the way it is. Any inconsistencies the game may have simply gives it character.

However, if there were any inconsistencies that I would like fixed in Alttp, it would be the terminologies in the English localization, simply due to the fact that they've been updated in later entries, including A Link Between Worlds.

Sure there may be some attempts like rechristening the Seven Wise Men to the Seven Sages, but they have yet to go farther than that, like rechristening the Medicine of Life and Magic to the Red Potion and Green Potion respectively.

It's odd. Some terminologies are updated in ALBW like Seven Wise Men -> Seven Sages. But others like Eastern Palace have not been changed to their original Japanese form (i.e. Eastern Temple). Some of the bosses' names, such as Degurokku ("Big Rock", probably meant to reference Gleeok since that creature's Japanese name is Guriouku and it is a multi-headed boss too) being changed to Trinexx, have also been kept in ALBW, such as Grinexx instead of Volgarock.

Changes for the Apollo card in circle of the moon, I hate the dumb combination mechanic, it should be a hadoken motion, the universal combination for throwing stuff...even better it should be just an L press, not buff activation required, just press L to throw stuff for mp...but EVEN BETTER THAN ALL THAT it should be a buff (same as all other card combinations) for the horribly underpowered subweapons imagine having the effects and damage of the apollo cards like an iceball or rose with the trajectory and speed of a knife that you can spam, it would be awesome, a new playstyle on itself, balanced by the fact that you need both hearts and MP to use and you would be burning thru both pretty fast, granted i dont know what to do about the more spell like effects but they could be left as they are but activated by a single L press.

You know, with the rise of De-makes of games like the Lucius demake, I've been curious and wanted to know: Do you think someday we'll be seeing demakes of 3D Nintendo games like Metroid: Other M (though with a much needed rewrite) and Luigi's Mansion? I mean I know they may be impossible, but it would be quite interesting to see one day.
