Ok, this one sounds easy.

A hack for Dragon Warrior IV so, in chapter 5, when the characters meet, you can manually control all of the characters instead of just the hero. This has always bothered me and it is fixed in the remakes but so far, no NES version let's you do this. That would be very awesome if it did one day.

edit: Found this also
http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/520-NES-Dragon-warrior-IV-FCEU-codes-(LARGE!
and specifically this:
"4 Chapter Modifier (0-4) (Set to < 4 To Control Party In Chapter 5) 2 615A:00X"
Not sure if that helps or not but oh well.

I just want to see an undub for Persona 2 Eternal Punishment on the PS1 since no matter how hard I try I can't seem to replace the battle voices with the Japanese ones.

I would like to see a hack of Kamen Rider for the Super Famicom where you and the 2nd player can play as either Nigo or Ichigo (via character selection)

Some idea that could be merged with Link's Awakening Restoration Patch:
* Faster transitions (specially between some areas and to/from menu/map)
* Better Hookshot head sprite (The current one looks... Horrible.
* THIEF punishment replacement. Perhaps could have the shopkeeper not allow link to buy his stuff until he gets enough rupees to pay for the stolen item, at which point the player would be no longer known as THIEF.
* Add a brief dialogue triggered on first encounter with Bosses/Minibosses that shows their name and "title" (Like Tailed Nightmare|Moldorm, or Nightmare in a Bottle|Genie) after they reveal themselves.

I had an idea when i was playing Castlevania Symphony of the Night for the Sega Saturn on my modded console. I was curious if you could hack the tracers(shadows) that follow Alucard(and some monsters) on screen and remove them from the game itself in my head it seems like that could help with performance issues.

I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been a hack of Wario's Woods where Wario is colored normally and not wear a purple hat.  For example, the big image of Wario that flashes for about two seconds in the intro, it would be a simple job to re-assign the attributes of his hat to use the same palette as his sleeves do.  I'm not sure if his other sprites can be edited to look more accurate, though, but this game gives me the impression that Nintendo just didn't care enough, ironic given it's the last game released on their most influential console.

An easier approach to this is to switch the shopkeeper's behavior (when name is changed to THIEF) to pre-sword; the shop is impossible to steal before you have the sword.

Aaaand here I come again, this time with an insane idea.

I was thinking here, would it be possible to get Mario climbing buildings parkour-like in Super Mario RPG? I mean, get Mario going Ezio in the game and climbing almost everything he can by running, jumping and all that shit. (And of course, rearranging treasures and levels in order to make profit of such mechanics.) Would that be possible?

I'm after some assistance. I just want to make a simple hack that remove the ability for one of the characters in the game (Forte/Bass) to double jump. Is this possible?

If so, can someone give me some pointers?

The problem is: You can't have a 100% completion because of his current behavior. You either complete everything except for the Album, or you complete everything but gets a stain on your save file (Branded THIEF and, if you ever tried to return to him, a single death)

Should be possible. If it's anything like how Mega Man X3 handles it then it shouldn't be too bad. I'll check it later when I get home
'We have to find some way to incorporate the general civilians in the plot.'

'We'll kill off children in the Juuban district with an infection where they cough up blood and are found hanging themselves from cherry blossom trees.'

Oh, I wasn't sure you mean the DX version. Alright then.

On another ideas, one could possibly hack Getsu Fuuma Den into Zelda II

A second request for a ROM hack. With a password, it is possible to use both the boss characters "Rat King" and "Karai" in the VS mode (i.e. player VS player). I was wondering whether it would be possible to hack a ROM to allow the selection of these two characters from the select screen in the main game as well?

How about a overhaul hack of Tournament Fighters in a form of a fan sequel
with the following
- new characters like Midget '80s Splinter, Mutant Cat April, Wererat Irma and others
- new plot
- 3 player multiplayer integration

I would like to see a hack for Metroid that restores the unused left/right sprites for Samus: http://tcrf.net/Metroid#Unique_Left.2FRight_Sprites

No, I think we can do a better job than that. A Graphics upgrade and a physics tweak would go a long way too.
