Update By: Ok Impala!

The last decade saw the release of many Ocarina of Time hacks. Sadly, many of them are hard to find these days. Today that finally changes with six classic Ocarina of Time hacks arriving on RHDN. In many cases patch file size was drastically reduced by creating new Xdelta patches. For standalone patches, a ReadMe was added with short instructions on which ROM to patch and how to patch.

Dive back in, or experience these hacks for the first time. And make sure to let other players know what you think by writing a review!

I always wondered why there were so few OOT complete hacks on here. This is super exciting, I had no idea any of these existed!  :D

Same for me. That's why I went on a hunt to find these hacks and make them available to everyone here! Enjoy! :)

Nightmare hack doesn't run on original hardware btw (via Everdrive x7). All the others do. The filesize is slightly different between that and the voyager of time hack, so the hack when applied as instructed by the patch online tool (either the fault of the hack or the tool) creates a result that won't work on og hardware. This is because the Everdrive x7 has a 64MB size limit and this is 17KB over that limit.

Also doesn't load in Mupen64 or Parallel64. Was this rom tested? It apparently only runs in a 64Drive by my testing so far.

EDIT: With some more testing, the download link I found from the link on romhacking.net (linking to a rom technically so it should be taken down) doesn't match the hash, and it does load in emulators. Still wrong filesize, but the current patch instructions are not correct on the Nightmare mod. Target CRC32 of rom Post-Patch ought to be CFC2CC25

Nightmare actually runs on real hardware when it's padded to 128MB. But that's too big for any EverDrive 64 flashcart. You have to have a 64Drive that is no longer purchaseable. It's literally 17KB above the 65536KB max filesize. Is there any way the filesize could be dropped to be able to fit in the 65536KB address space so this can be ran on a normal EverDrive?

Strange. The ROM does work for me in MUPEN64, and patching a clean ROM with the patch I created works too. That patched ROM does indeed get a CRC32 of CFC2CC25 . Did you really patch the correct Debug ROM?

aberu: Hello! Which link are you referring to? If there's a link to a ROM on the hack pages, I'm happy to get that fixed.

I guess he's referring to the "Central Ocarina" website I linked to the author of Nightmare and several other hacks, since they didn't have a personal website. It's located at https://bruceivshankle.wixsite.com/centralocarina . If that's not allowed, feel free to remove that website from the profile of the authors.
