I made a spanish translation of the game "Built to Win" released in 1990 for Nes.

i never learned how find and use pointers. Before when i had space problems, i used Tile Layer pro to modify some letters,Signs or simbols and adapted them. But as a result, some letters look smaller:

I mean, it gets the job done, but its not the perfect way of doing a translation. And sometimes it introduces some small graphic bugs.
So i started reading "The Mad Hacker's Guide to Pointers"

At least with this game so i can take it as an example for future translations.
