Looking for assistance with disassembling the unlicensed NES port of Super Mario World.
So far I've managed to disassemble the game completely, but I still need to add RAM labels and clean up the code.
Outside of the base disassembly, I've only managed to document some RAM addresses and ROM locations.
"Why the NES port? Wouldn't it make more sense to just hack the original?"
This disassembly is part of a larger project
to completely overhaul and rebuild the game to be a full port of the original. A friend and I have been working on it for a few months now and I really think it can be done, but given how ambitious this is, it's too big for us to do it all by ourselves.
As you can imagine a project like this needs the game to be thoroughly understood, thus the disassembly is a very important part of it.
