Clock Tower is a Point 'n Click Horror game for the Super Famicom. Being developed by a very small team, it has a great deal of cut content and unimplemented features, along with various details in need of polish.

A port was released for the Sony PlayStation, that added mouse support and some new content such as a new bedroom and two enemies. This patch will add that to the original Super Famicom version.

There are also various bugfixes and some quality of life improvements, such as letting you run through stairs and speed up the credits.

Patches exist for the Japanese original, as well as the fan translations that are currently available.

Interesting project! This makes justice for people who prefer SNES music which is slightly different.

Yes! Incredible! Thanks for breathing some new life into Clock Tower.

I'm not personally a fan of some of the PS1 changes, but these listed bug fixes and the addition of unused sprites/elements definitely has me very excited to try the mod out for myself. The "Future Plans" section of the readme also sounds very promising!

I saw you added a patch for IlDucci's Spanish translation, why don't you make one for Denver's Portuguese translation?
My latest Portuguese translation: Fire Dragon (NES)

It's way cool that you made this work. Didn't think it was possible!

Hey Bob, thanks so much for your patch for Clock Tower for Snes, it really adds a LOT of quality fixes and new content, I really appreciate it.

Just a quick one, I was thinking to play it on real hardware with a repro cartridge but I've got some issues with the total size of the patched rom( English patch + your deluxe patch) it turns out it exceeds the maximum amount of 4,00 MB (4.194.304 bytes) that the eprom chip supports, yours is 4,00 MB (4.198.400 bytes) so its just 4bytes extra.

Talking from the complete ignorance, Is there any chance to make the patched game size 4,00 MB (4.194.304 bytes) so it will fit on the eprom chip?

Manu thanks!

I love seeing the work, and the gamers thank you, but what exactly is the point of this? Isn't the PS1 an improved version of the same game on SNES. It's neat no doubt, but I think if you were going to play Clock Tower you would want to play the improved version on a more powerful console. Am I missing something?
