Ok, accepted. I think I'll do it at the end of this month, maybe earlier.

Until then you can do some digging on ROM/RAM/any other notes and PM me with this information so I can add it to the disassembly.

Alrighty... maze data is located at ROM address $2C88 and uses the exact same format described in these notes for Ms. Pac-Man which is built off this game's code. (I might also make the needed files for Ms. Pac-Man as well? But it'll be tricky since I need to edit a byte in the ROM to expose all the debugging features contained within...)
There's loads of ASCII strings in here as well. Address $0010 contains "COPY RIGHT 1984 1980 NAMCO LTD. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED" and address $00FB contains "HIROKI AOYAGI" (most likely the programmer). Title screen layout information and text are at $02AF. Strings for the ghost names in the attract screen are at $05F9. The "PAUSE" string that shows up when you pause the game is at $0AA1. Looks like $3435 to $4000 is blank space.

No chance for River City Ransom? (or Dowtown Nekketsu Monogatari)

Midnight Metronome

I'm not a hacker or programmer but if there's one game that needs to be improve it's river city ransom. That game had so much potential but it's a mess. It's too short, bosses re-appear, certain abilities are over powered. That game needs an overhaul.

Using a search engine to search for Super Mario Bros. 2 disassembly or Super Mario Bros. 3 disassembly you can find these:

You are going on about disassembling this game for 8 years now, even made some attempts. I've got necessary tools and manuals to speed things up. What's stopping ya from finally doing it?

Jaz

If there's one game that dissembling it would be extraordinary.. it would be River City Ransom / Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari.

Imagine the possibilities!

DuckTales NES Disassembly possibly? I mean I've been wanting to make a GBC port for awhile now.

A GBC Ducktales would be based on the existing Game Boy Ducktales, surely.

Note about "The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle" ...

There was an unofficial FDS to Famicom conversion of "Roger Rabbit", using an unusual Mapper to make it work. This game had an animated ending not present in "The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle," which hackers have yet to replicate. I am not sure if this Mapper could be corrected to something more normal -- either based on this or the FDS data.
