Hello, my apologies for bothering y'all, but I'm having quite a bit of trouble trying to apply a few patches to the SNES version of 6. I'm trying to use the Ted Woosley uncensored patch, the Resilient Morph patch, and the Sword Tech Ready Stance patches, but the rom keeps being messed up. I probably should mention that I'm doing this to be used with my SNES Classic with the canoe emulator.

It would be helpful if you described your problem in more detail. Do the individual patches work? Does any combination of patches work? What do you mean by "messed up"?

The canoe emulator has its own quirks and is not necessarily the most accurate.
This signature is an illusion and is a trap devised by Satan. Go ahead dauntlessly! Make rapid progres!

Well I tried doing the Woosley patch first, then the Resilient Morph and finished with the Sword Ready Stance. It makes it as far as the very first battle and then freezes. Previously I had did Sword, Morph, then Woosley and made it all the way to the Veldt before it froze up on the first battle to occur there.

I use a patch conflict checker, it's around here somewhere.

Hatzen's patches require a Header added before you patch them. Use tush to add one after patching TWUE.

While I was patching, I did add a header as I was adding those two mods and then removed it afterwards, but still lead to the freezing issue.

So as far as rombanks go, the Swd Tech Ready Stance and Resilient Morph touch banks C1 and C2, and they are both fairly small patches. As far as I know, TWUE doesn't do anything to that part of the code. The Header would be the first thing I checked, but beyond that, I'd made sure that you were using the 1.0 version of the rom. The 1.1 version does a bit of byte shifting in the C2 bank, so anything that affects battle mechanics is likely to cause the game to freeze during battle.

I tested myself and can confirm that something causes the game to freeze when adding both patches to a header ed TWUE, but I am not sure what is being affected. I would have to check if it's one or the other when patching.
