A few years ago when Digimon World 2 was released, it was an incredible experience, but of course, there were a lot of things missing in the game that were never released in the final version.

This Improvement Hack adds a lot of things that were in the game, but never activated, fixes wrong models and sprites, translates Japanese removed tech and activates them in the game and finally adds extra features.

New Features!
*BlackWarGreymon added on Kimeramon Trio in Tera Domain's 99th floor
*BlackWarGreymon's TERRA DESTROYER tech added
*BlackWarGreymon is VERY HARD and STRONGEST BOSS
*BlackWarGreymon is not capturable
*Exit Game menu added in Digital City
*Extra Dungeon "Dark Tower" added in Kernel Zone
*MaxDrive and Chips are now buyable in Device Dome
*Chaos-WarGreymon is now available in Dark Tower
*Chaos-MetalSeadramon is now available in Dark Tower
*Chaos-Pierrotmon is now available in Dark Tower
*Sub-boss ChaosLord is now available in Dark Tower
*NeoCrimson is now available in Dark Tower
*Virus Guardian is now available in Dark Tower
*Data Guardian is now available in Dark Tower
*Vaccine Guardian is now available in Dark Tower
*OverLord GAIA 1st Form is now available in Dark Tower
*OverLord GAIA 2nd Form is now available in Dark Tower

Features Restored!
*PocketStation Mode added from Japanese version

Some Fixes!
*Fixed wrong sprites model on Baihumon, Omnimon and Diaboromon
*Fixed original tech on Baihumon, Omnimon and Diaboromon

Translated Japanese tech and activated in game!
*せいどうほう to Bronze cannon
*てっこそう to Iron Claws
*オメガヒール to Omega Heal
*パラダイスロスト to Paradise Lost

Features never activated in the game, but files was inside the disc
*Kimeramon activated and available on Tera Domain's 99th Floor
*Kimeramon now have you proper sprite model
*Sharmamon activated and available
*ModikiBetamon activated and available
*Zassomon activated and available
*Psychemon activated and available
*Aruraumon activated and available
*Muchomon activated and available
*Geremon activated and available
*Fugamon activated and available
*Sharmamon now can digivolve to Fugamon

"BlackWarGreymon is not capturable" doesn't sound like a new feature. In fact, it sounds like someone removed a feature.

xnamkcor: I think that's a typo for "now", since you couldn't get BlackWarGreymon in the original game.

This project is still under development, I am informing people that it is not captureable, so it avoids people reporting that it is not being able to capture him.

This looks awesome! But there's a little something I HAVE to ask. It's been a long time since I last finished this game, although it's one of my all-time favorites. A few months ago I decided to play it again, with the intention of capturing ALL of the Digimons. But then I found myself in this situation: Digimon Deposit is limited. I got quite surprised because in my memories, I thought the game would let you keep an infinite number of Digimons there. That said, is it possible to make a hack for infinite Digimon slots in Digimon Deposit? I would absolutely love to play this game if that means I can keep all digimons to myself.

I think in Changelog lingo, that would go under Known Issues.

Or code a compression/decompression method into the game.

It wouldn't need to be infinite Digimons, but, let's say, if there are 200 different Digimons in this game(I don't know exactly how many are there), then expand the Digimon Deposit slots to 200 or so.

I wouldn't mind if the game would require more blocks to be saved. Unless, of course, the game would require over 10 blocks or something.

Hi big fan of digimon world 2... I would like to enquire if the patch will affect any previous save game?

Is there a way to confirm the patch is in effect if you're at the beginning of the game?

it was pretty interesting to go back to this game that i played 20 or so years ago and actually understand the story this time around, and i got to see the content that was cut from the game thanks to the hack.
i have to say though, being able to capture BK-Metalgarurumon and not BK-wargreymon is a total tease.

hopefully he becomes capturable in future versions, thanks for your work gledson

black gabumon boss battle on my. infinity is TOO hard.
He's like.. 10 times stronger than the final boss.
It doesn't make much sense to me... I vote for him to be nerfed a little

Thanks a lot! I love replaying Digimon World 1, and I've wanted to replay this one too for a long time and this seems like a good opportunity.

That said, have you considered doing something to make the game a bit less grindy? I remember I got like 90+ hours into this as a kid before beating it and while I am sure I would take much less as an adult, I still feel it would probably be quite long. Something like increasing the effect of Digibeetle's Battery upgrades by 30% or so, and maybe the Experience yield of beating Champion Digimon and up could do it, I believe (no idea, I haven't played this in over 18 years, I think).

Why its only black screen when I enter Mt. infinity but I can open the last dungeon after chaos domain.

This is really good work, thanks to author! But please, make Black Agumon and Gabumon not so hard. And please, add evolution from Monochromon to Triceramon. And little question. Will you changing names and terms from US dub to Japanese version?

what about the new techs ID like terra destroyer?
what about if you fix terra force, witch should not be a white ball? rather a more glowy orange like terra destroyer version?
