The Megaman GameGear game needs a music overhaul and maybe someone can modify the code to allow three Megabuster shots at once like every other Megaman game. Writing good sounding music for the SN76489 PSG soundchip is a challenge but I'm sure someone out there has the skill.

Maybe fix GG Megaman's graphics, Green Starman and Megaman's slightly off-centered helmet are a big no-no.

haha I had forgotten about Green Starman!
But anyway lets keep this on Megaman V.

Any chance the game could be modified to take advantage of the GBC's enhanced speed? The original can be kinda prone to slowdown.

I was just going to upload it and post it here, but then I saw a cool YouTube feature that allows you to schedule the premiere, so I feel like using it :-D

The slowdown wasn't severe enough, but if we can eliminate all the slowdown it would be great.

One more thing: can you touch up Electric Shock? Jupiter's Electric Shock looks truly electrifying, and then there's Mega Man's, which is... Noodles.

The slowdown is atrocious. More like Mega Man 5 frames per second.

Looking forward to this, can't wait. Nice coloring too.

There's no need for hyperbole. The slowdown is unfortunate, but not game-breaking. All fave of the Mega Man games for GameBoy are quite playable compared to many other efforts to bring NES-like experiences to the handheld.

I agree, all 5 gameboy games run almost (if not just as well) as the NES saga. V in particular runs great!

This is awesome! Would love to see a version (obviously for emulators only) that keeps the SGB borders. I'd also LOVE to see someone recreate the whole Mega Man Mania, though it doesn't have to be for GBA. Maybe the levels/ enemies/ weapons etc from GB MM 1-4 can be ported into this game when it's done? (one game per rom of course), to effectively colorize the first 4 games. To top it off, maybe the PC (or another console) version of Anniversary Collection can be modified to house the GB games instead.

I think Saturn should be a darker brown, but the rest of that looks like a solid basis!

the color sprites do look wonderful, although I think some of the weapon/enemy colors differ some from the official artwork. if it hasn't been referenced you can find it here: https://archive.org/details/MegaManMegaManXOfficialCompleteWorksByKBG/page/n105/mode/2up (pages 106~112). not the biggest deal tho. this will be amazing to see finished!
