We've only rarely made "improvements" to the Japanese text, reserving those for scenarios where there was an unequivocal flaw in the original text.We appreciate you playing through DQ3 Delocalized and providing feedback, but unfortunately, we are inclined to stick with our translation in this case.

Now I don't actually know Japanese so maybe I'm just confused here, but looking at the romanisation and comparing to other lines in the game script, レベル sure looks like an explicit reference to character level?
