Got some character concept busts that illustrate the character roster so far. Below are busts for Sonia Belmont, Quincy Morris, and Saint Germain, (excluding Claudia's).
Credit goes out to Neri for the illustrated concepts, and to Ecmo for the pixel art design.

Stuff is not complete on my end though need to bring out an update on my own project.  Been busy doing a lot of things outside of ROM hacking lol.

A little snippet of two characters, Claudia (Sypha replacement) and Quincey (Grant replacement).  Both in Phase 1 development.  I had a lot more for Claudia made however I didn't like so deleted and remade things.  I will show more when they are completed

Also, if anyone is remotely interested.  There will be a livestream this coming Friday towards stage development on the Mine & Quarry area for AoC.  Doing this stuff again to boost development along with my projects and channel.  The livestream and chat will be recorded

The core cast is finally coming together
Saint Germain (before he became a time traveler)
Claudia (the creator of the Aperture of Corruption)
Quincy Morris (heir to the lost Belmont legacy, and the 1897 Vampire Killer)
Sonia Belmont (torn from the past to fight Dracula one last time)

Morinis

Just a tiny update.

Building a stage to what one of our sprite artists made!  I'm redoing some stuff from what showed on my AoC livestream to get things ready for overhauling sprites so I can hit this stage hard and heavy once the current Port Stage is complete as it's been going on long enough.

I've been extremely busy with real life stuff so haven't been too productive.  Placing my projects into my daily routines so nothing gets pushed back nor to the side as AoC has been the main focus lately.

Appreciate it as so does the team, David!

Port City is now officially 5/8 done!  I'm digging back into my productive streaks to get things presented out like how I use to so y'all will see a shit ton of content arriving in the coming weeks on everything

Heh no problem!

Awesome! Nice, can't wait to see how that turns out. ;)

Here are some quick and easy updates on how things are coming with the port town:

The town has been optimized a bit further, both clouds and stairs share a tile and the building BG has been broken down to make room for the rest of the stage.

The first ship iterations have finally arrived, they are expected to be edited in the coming future

Finally we have some new compressed level art for a factory stage (using a devils forge theme)

We are currently on the look out for people willing to help with stage layouts and character animations, if either of those two interest you we could defiantly use your help.

DavidtheIdeaMan

Excellent work Toffi,Stage 1 is looking great so far, keep it up

A Factory stage, interesting,is it going to be stage three?

Toffi

Things are still moving forward, the team is working on the upper deck of the ship and will be preparing boss tiles and music soon. Next on the list of too do's is the still screens intro images and the title, with the intent of bringing them into Phase 2/3.

Flaviogames

it is very interesting, so what I did this game will be totally different from the original, right? what will his title be?

DavidtheIdeaMan

Flaviogames

imagine it at the time of nes, jaw-dropping graphics to this day considering the limitations of our dear and beloved nes 8bit

Toffi

Thanks Flaviogames! AoC team has been working their hardest to give CV3 their utmost care.
Here's a quick update on the teams progress:
Currently the Port Town stage is nearing completion, the stage has been set. All that's left is to finish up the music (Forge Master's NaOH and Teuthida are tackling the SONIA MMC5 music engine on that front) and the stage boss (Which Forge Master Emco is creating at this very moment).

Some new progress has been made on the next stage in line for creation, the devious Devils Forge. Hanging chains and platforms have been developed alongside a few minor changes to the stages floor for extra detail.
