[SNES] ArkanEdit - An Editor for Arkanoid - Doh it again

we just released an editor for Arkanoid - Doh it again on the SNES. Click on the logo above to download it .If you encounter any problems / bugs, need help / advice using it or just want to give feedback, please use this thread.

You cannot create new boss levels, but you can create a boss-rush-version and put all 9 bosses one level after another... and you can edit the bosses hitpoints of course.

So I just finished all the levels for an Arkanoid hack I've been working on using the amazing editor you guys put out, and I noticed that on level 75, the powerups are extremely glitched out. They have no color (just a black outline), and touching them restarts the level. I first thought it was because that particular level I had made had a lot of blocks on screen, but even when I removed most of them, the problem remained. I was able to make the level playable by removing all of the powerups, but I just wanted to let the creators (and the program users) know of this problem so they don't have issues themselves. (PS - I didn't mess with any enemies or powerups in any of the levels, and every one of the other 98 levels worked fine as is)

And: Very nice hack you did there  :thumbsup:



Edit: Ok, this happens because the original level 75 has no bonus blocks, so the list for this level is empty. When you put bonusses in this level, the game has no idea what it should drop. We have to adjust that in the editor.
At the moment the same problem will occure in level 75, 84, 96 and 98.

For coming to the forums it is nice to see someone made a new Arkanoid editor.  I thought I was bored when I wrote the first one for DOS.  Sometime I may get around to checking it out.

I rarely come around the forums these days but I do check out all the new tools and project releases and believe me, they top my NES releases.
