jordanbarkley released a hack 3 years ago that changes the controls in Ninja Gaiden Trilogy. The thing is, they didn't make it an .ips file. I have no idea how to compile bass, is there someone here who can walk me through it? Or patch a ROM and extract an .ips patch from there?

Put your rom inside same directory named as original.sfc then run:
bass.exe ninja.asm

Just use google.com next time!

Sweet. Although I heard most dedicated NG fans prefer the 8-bit version. I recently got NG3 for ps3 and was quite disappointed! I think I prefer the 8-bit version also!

I'm having compiling issues with that myself. I renamed the ROM file original.sfc, ran bass in command line, and it tells me unrecognized arch snes.cpu. Not sure if there's something wrong on my end.
