Instead of using mega.nz, would it make more sense to use something a bit more stable like archive.org? That site would be ideal for hosting translation romhacks.
What instability of mega.nz are you talking about? This hosting has never let me down.

It's not that MEGA is unstable. Your upload can be taken down for some dumb reason, or your account could be closed. Archive.org is like a digital library and anyone can make torrents out of your stuff, so it's less prone to making stuff disappear.

This lighting effect was added by patch.

Hi,

Like the "wide screen" mode, is that an option so that you can get the original graphics with no added effects?

New updates for the game (1.3 and 1.4) brought the following changes:
  • Support for official 4 MB Extended RAM Cartridge;
  • Added the ability to skip cinematics (by clicking START);
  • Added a "HARD MODE" (activated by pressing the L+R buttons on the title screen of the game after each restart);

I'm playing this game for the first time thanks to your work, I really enjoy it and I am obsessed with some of the music.
 :woot!: Heartfelt thanks to paul_met, pennywise and other contributors :woot!:
I'm just after the fight against

, so I guess I'm near the end^^.

I have noticed some English errors in the text, I don't know if they are present on the PSX version, anyway I wanted to post them here in case, to modestly help to polish any future update.
  • principals -> principles
  • practioner -> practitioner
  • scroundels -> scoundrels
  • held their -> held there
  • "Save in battle" -> "In-battle save"
Last one is for the Load menu (borrowed from the PSX version) because "save in battle" sounds like a verb.

Thanks for the report. There'll probably be a new version one of these days.

Edit:

Patch has been updated.

I saw the translation uploaded to the site before the news article on its release, and originally thought to myself "Could this be one of the first RPG-styled games with the word 'Hearts' in its title like Kingdom Hearts and Shadow Hearts?".
