Change byte which is written to $0600. #$00 to disable music

The3Dude

That area in the ROM is free "FF" space. nothing is written there.

I specifically want to disable the title theme and the overworld theme. Not the dungeon and death theme. By changing that to 00 it disables all music, because it controls all music in general. I am very inexperienced when it comes to data logging and tracing pointers. That is why I really need help.

By "help" you mean pointing you to the exact ROM locations you need to edit, or telling you how to find them by yourself?

You can teach me or tell me. Any help is appreciated. I know you are the only one here so far who felt it was worth helping me. And you even took the time to find the $600 address. So thank you for that most of all. I am planning something "eerie"  >:D and muting those 2 tracks would be amazing help to me right now. :D

0x09556 - title
0x1EBF0 - overworld

To find them you would need to set a write breakpoint at $0600

Thank you so much! I was able to mute overworld and make title screen have Lv9 theme because of your help :D
