Hey, I'm pretty new here. I didn't know where to put this, hope this is the right section. I'm having issues with a translation patch for Mega Man & Bass SNES [aka Rockman & Forte], after patching it trying to load it with RetroArch results in a black screen. The unpatched rom works fine, as well as another patch I used [the one that reloads weapons when you die]. Using only the translation patch or using both at the same time in whatever order always gives the same result. The weapons patch is meant to be compatible with the translation anyways. If it helps, I'm using Lunar IPS for patching, and RetroArch's Snes9x core for emulating.

Many times, problems with SNES games are related to the presence or absence of a header.

If your ROM has no header, have you tried adding a header before applying the translation patch?  If it has a header, have you tried removing the header before applying the translation patch?

Yeah, seems it was the header. Added a header with TUSH and it worked. Thanks!
