I don't quite understand what you mean, but if it was for the money, they offered us to buy the exclusive of this hack to market it and we refused.
Not to mention that both hacks can coexist perfectly, as did this project, and
song's work, which we've supported almost from the beginning and by the way, I recommend you check it out:
https://youtu.be/M-fX3XZww-cOn the other hand, if it were for the lack of money, there would be practically no hackers, I don't know what soap operas you watch, but in general hackers do things for love.
That's why nobody wants to feel the pressures of a common work, having to meet deadlines or giving explanations every so often, if you don't believe me, ask any colleague and you'll see that one can tolerate any problem that a project involves, but a single impatient fan can kill your energy.
I could go on for a long time listing the problems we have to go through, but I think you get the idea, we are people, with our responsibilities, insecurities, desires, limits and above all our own lives behind us, if it were up to us we would please everyone, but most of the time when you only work for the good of others you leave your own good aside.
For example, the last updates I posted here, I did them every day after coming back from the hospital, since I had my mother in serious condition and when I left the project I did it after her death and that of my uncle who had died a month before in his sleep.
