Toad's one of my fave Mario characters so it's always nice to see him get some love. I really liked your original Toad's world hack, I played it to the end. I did have a lot of issues even reaching the end, a lot of the hit boxes on enemies were deceptively bigger than their sprites. Those giant piranah plants near the beginning that demanded pixel perfect jumps over them were especially brutal.. I got killed a lot by things I clearly didn't touch. So if you're using the same hack as a base, might I suggest refining that a little bit?
As for what you've shown so far in these screenshots, if you're asking for criticism, it does look good, but at the same time every environment looks like it was ripped out of New Super Mario Bros, this is just my own personal taste but those games have one of the blandest art styles in the series, I kind of liked how the first Toad's World incorporated a lot of Yoshi's Island style into it.
