Xenogears softlock patch, is available ?

I open this topic to ask if there is any patch fix for the softlock bug in the boss fight in the Xenogears jrpg for ps1 that i have miss. I ask this, because i saw this hack that have fix for this bug: https://www.romhacking.net/translations/5626/ but to bad, i don't understand French language at all. It's possible to extract the patch and use it in the US version of the game ?

That would be a good patch, but I don't know how to do it. I will just say that I have beaten Xenogears twice, and never got a softlock on Deus.
