so, I am currently trying to edit the text in Zelda 2, and after i replace the text and save the game, the emulator I am using (VirtuaNES) won't load the game and a popup shows up that says "Language plug-in is not found". It loads a regular rom just fine, but once I edit it it can no longer run. I'm probably making a really stupid mistake but wanted to ask here just in case because I couldn't find anything about it on google. (also sorry if I used the wrong flair)

You can't insert bytes, inserting a byte means everything else gets shifted over out of place.  Only replace bytes.

Try another emulator. Virtuanes sometimes refuses to launch edited roms by checking their checksum.
