Hi all. ifightdragons and I are working on a re-writing of the Captain Tsubasa 2 script, and are having difficulty translating what this phrase is. For context, it's a line spoken by someone about another person who ran off in the middle of telling a story. Here's the full line, in context.

The last line is ambiguous, it seems the line is meant to indicate someone is being showy or putting in too much effort to look cool or something.
