What process have you tried so far? If you're trying to use old DOS programs, they might work with DOSBox.

that didn't work
If you want help, you need to be more descriptive.

What didn't work? Did you get an error message? Did you see something unexpected?

the first one was a file not compatible with mac and i did not notice it, so the first one simply did not open
the second one was much simpler, it was a software with just "open rom" and i tried opening it, it showed an error message saying
"wrong file type"

Okay, why don't you tell us exactly what programs you're trying to use rather than leaving us to guess?

Ayoye.

alex corley and brad neil
I tried doing a Google search for "alexy corley" "brad neil" and couldn't find anything, so why not just give the name of the program or at least say exactly where you downloaded it from!?  This is excruciating!

You said that was called "SNES palette importer+exporter".  It is very obviously called "SNES - Bitmap Exporter/Importer".  Bitmaps are not the same as palettes.

So why don't you try a utility that actually says that it edits palettes?

If you insist on working on a Mac, then I suggest you dual-boot into Windows using Bootcamp, or get a virtual machine.
