so i was playing the PC Doom 2 resources Hack and i liked it a lot but wanted to change a few things. Nothing to do with sprites more with speed and wondered what tools i would use to get started. I feel that it runs a bit slow and there is delay between button input and firing. at first i thought maybe i could just increase the rom speed a bit and slow down the run speed but maybe it would be better if i increased the speed of the fire animations. I dont know where to start so any help or advice is welcome.
