A few years ago someone at the Spanish forum elotrolado.net managed to create patches for the Sega 32X games "Tempo" and "Zaxxon's Motherbase" in order to bypass region lockout on PAL hardware. Since these two games are the only ones out of the 32x library that won't work with an Everdrive clone on a PAL MegaDrive/32X combo, I've been looking for patches like these. 32x uses the same header format as Mega Drive.
Editing the country code should do the trick, iirc.

Yes, that works for most of the games/ROMs, but not these two. Let me quote from the thread at elotrolado.net:
"Editing the header is impossible, apart from the header, it has level 2 protection, that is, the cartridge checks at what speed the mega is going and if it does not match that of its region, the [region lock message] shows."
