Hack zip files not working/decompressing

Do you have to decompress hack zip files to get the ips? Nothing i download will decompress.

Download the patch .zip
Decompress this file with winzip.exe
Get your .ips patch

To patch a game with .ips
You can use lunarips.exe

The zip files here are exactly the same as the zip files everywhere else on the Internet.  Do you have trouble with other zip files?  Can you name a specific hack you've tried to download that gave you problems?
