When are they going to be enabled?
Is there a reason to have them disabled?

They don't appear disabled on the form for me. Were you getting an error when trying to submit?

There have been some behind the scenes upgrades going on, it's possible you saw a glitch from that.

Try to preview a translation form with a Primary Title filled.

I just did a submission with a new game write-in. But that was a Hack and not a Translation.

True, works in hacks but not in translations.

I ran into this issue as well, or I should say I assumed it was this issue. I contacted staff and it turns out I was using personal pronouns in the description and the error checking was catching it but not explaining the error properly.

Check your text for first person language and try removing it. You could probably just put some filler text in and hit preview as a test.

Translations of existing games work well (with my usual description), it's NEW GAMES that fail to submit/preview.

Yeah, it was a new game. I just submitted a translation for Touge R for Xbox which was not already in the database. It's in the queue right now.

You might need to use this form to get someone who can help with this issue. Nightcrawler in particular doesn't seem to visit the forums regularly. http://www.romhacking.net/contact/

Non-English new game write-ins for Translations are not currently being accepted. The new game (and many other) sub systems are slowly being replaced across the site. Various sections and/or submission combinations may be disabled for the duration of the project.

I also cannot add translations in Spanish of games that are not in the database

I'm having the same problem. Can't submit a translation for "Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Justice For All" for Nintendo DS because this game isn't in RHDN's data base, and when filling the fields in the "New Game Entry" section, I'm getting the message "Translations for new game write-ins cannot be accepted at this time".

Can someone please at least add this game onto the database manually, so I can submit the translation? At least until this problem isn't fixed?

Just passing to report that, a few days ago, Nightcrawler replied the contact email I sent him, reporting this bug. He fixed this issue, and asked me to try submitting the translation again. I've submitted it this morning, and looks like it's working again.

For you guys that are having the same issue: Try again. Maybe now it'll work.
