Is there any resources out there on how to get into colorizing these roms?  What software to use?  I'm new to it all, but it seems that YY-CHR doesn't do color changing.  I know GB Colorizer doesnt seem to work too well, plus mapper issues.

Can you kinda tell me where to start / how you are doing it? Hex I assume, but what/how/where?  I have a base knowledge of hex (what it is, and that those values control everything.

To success convert a gb into a gbc asm programming is required.

A few other stuff like mbc change ,pallete assignment are use too.

I see you are new, so my advice is that first start to learn how gameboy and gbc works, there are many technical books and guides. Later you will be able to understand how assembly and instruction works. That will open many possibilities like rewrite a gb game into a gbc.
