Perhaps it would be easier to work off the original rom instead of the 4 player hack and create a standalone 1-2 player version?
If you want to keep the options and other features it would also take time, but without actually adding something new. And I'd rather spend my time on adding new features like the friendly AI. ;)

hi, i am very new on this topic and this forum at all.

i know this is out of topic, but need help to setup 3-4 remotes with the application, only two works at the time. can someone help me with 3 or 4 remote setup?

i have the simulator installed on amazon firestick and using Bluetooth remotes. all the remotes are working, depending which two i press the X button or whatever button on them, they are working for Mario and Luigi, and the other ones are not working. once i restart the app and start it, and during the game will press on say R1 and R3, this time R1 and R3 will be operational.
in the emulator settings, input 1 2 and 3 are showing the names of Bluetooth remotes correctly, like Remote1, Remote2 and Remote3. not sure what else to try to make all the remotes(aka players operational).

thanks in advance for any hint, if there is a post to read about will appreciate if someone will give me link.

thanks again

Some emulators don't recognize this hack as 4 players. I have had problems finding an one that works with 4 player input but the Nestopia core for RetroArch worked.

Which emulator do you use?
