No luck with the Dice game: while I'm able to decompress the graphics(located at $0B:AE9E) with the konami decompressor, the konami compressor doesn't compress them correctly  :(
The other one is done though.

Wonder why compression is having an issue. Glad to hear the other one is working  ;D So excited the Goemon SNES have finally received some loving. Kudos, congrats, and everything else

Okay it's updated. Unless someone find a problem I think this will be the final version I have already too much project on my plate.

Good timming for me, I just started a playthrough on this. Again, thank you so much! For this and for the other Goemon projects you've been involved with.

Thanks again for your continued updates!

A quality-of-life suggestion for Goemon 2-4: As the recent "Faster Walking Buildup Speed" hack for Flink has demonstrated, having a more immediate response to holding the run button is a good thing.

In Goemon 2-4 there is a 1-2 second delay between when you begin holding the run button and when your character actually runs. Having an optional patch that makes this immediate (or at least shorter) would frankly make the gameplay during the platforming sections of these titles feel a lot more responsive.

Sorry for the necro on this thread. I found a "typo" where the french word "TEMPS" is used instead of "TIME" during normal action gameplay. I am using the "Go for it!" title screen patch.

Wonderful work on this! I've been enjoying it very much.

Hi this hack will no longer be supported. We've done a new translation directly from the japanese rom so don't use this hack anymore and use our new translation instead.

Hey FlashPV, I'm playing on v2.0 of the DDSTranslations patch using the SRAM hack. I ended up dying in Act 2 to test out the save system, and after going back to the main menu and selecting Continue, the game starts me back at Act 1 instead. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you actually save the game in the diary? You have to go to the travel agency and manually save, otherwise, there are no checkpoints.

I thought the way the hack worked was that it records the last password the game generates? When you choose to end your journey, does the password given not work that way?

In the hack in question, when the clerck offers you to save the diary it does not display any password, it saves the game and then, whem you choose to continue from where you left your travel, it will load the game and leave you in front of the save office.
