This is a small project I have been working on. It contains edits for the first 3 Final Fantasy Games for the NES.

The goal is to make them match the way the later games do. Not so much rewriting scripts or editing game play but fixing the colors and such.

These patches will be capable of going on top of any other patch as well as the original games.

To start off I have begun editing the colors for the text screens.

Not to personally attack you or anything, but how would this hack compare to other "complete" hacks like Final Fantasy Restored and Grond's Final Fantasy hack?

What do you plan to edit? If you're slightly changing shades of colors, it might not be worth the effort since the colors will look different depending on the NES color palette used.

Even on a real NES, colors (is it an NTSC-specific issue?) can even vary between different TVs.

Coming from PAL Region (poor us), i can corroborate the issue was here too!

Yeah, but on a single given tv or monitor the colors should be consistant.
It not like if all other settings are left untouched that the same color will vary between games.
