Hello there,

Just tried to ge Super Maio Kart with MSU to work but without success.

While I had no problems to get Super Metroid or Zelda LTTP to use MSU-1 (thanks to proper .ips files!) the SMK MSU1 project only delivers some weird files that are supposed to work together with SNes9X (1.56.2) - but when loading the renamed ROM (unheadered!) while having all necessary files in the same directory, the ROM is just using the original music.

Is there a chance that there is a proper IPS file to be applied with LunarMagic and then adding the necessary PCM files to the ROM directory along with a valid XML file?

Did you look at the readme?

A .msu1 file is actually just a renamed .zip file, so if you want, you can just rename it and use it as detailed above for the emulator of your choice.

Yes. I did! And even trying various emulators with all necessary files in one directory did not help. The ROM just loads with the SPC sound. No MSU1 emulation

1) Download Floating IPS
2) Apply either the resume or no resume version, depending on how you want stars to effect music.
3) Play your game.
