Need help with patching SRW AP for PSP

For the last couple of days, I have been trying to patch the super robot wars a portable game with the English Translation file (from here https://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=19055.0) but for some reason, every time i execute patch command, it keeps telling me to rename my iso file even though I have already renamed the file. Can anyone advise me what I have done wrong?

Did you try Delta Patcher instead of the included patch stuff like the readme suggests?
