Hi guys,

i read that the mapper #69 of Batman Return of the joker isn't supported by default by Nintendo Nes mini. Is it available an hacked version of this game that work on this console?

thank you!

well i would like to use the internal one becuse it is easier. I ried Retroach on my pc, but i don't like it, it's not user friendly to configure all the emulators, shaders, and so on...

Doesn't Return of the Joker use the same mapper as Ufouria, which was an official VC release? Guess Nintendo didn't simply reuse their VC emulator.

Retroarch on the nes classic is pretty much plug and play, you don't even see its interface.
ah really?  So if i install Retroarch ONLY for Nes games, the interface is the same as the original but in this way the NesMini use automatically Retroarch to run unsupported games? If so, i can see the unsupported games in the default games list with all the others games?

Last question: in order to install it, is it only necesary to drag and drop the retroarch.hmod file in Hacki and hen install it?

thanks

Hebereke, the Japanese version, uses mapper 69 and like Batman, doesn't work. The European release, Ufouria, uses mapper 4. So applying an NTSC patch to that version is the way to go for the NES Mini.

As for NES Mini compatability, I am compling a document here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10YUaoxguzhEQlhw6cz3YTCaoSqsR34WfTloW_1fCdLk/edit#gid=1219425185

Retroarch ONLY plays NES games. If you want it to play other games, you have to add other modules that work through Retroarch.

And if you have games running through RA, you won't even notice you are using it. You load the games just as you would load any other game. Basically, RA is invisible. The only way you'll know you are using RA is if you press Start+Select during gameplay, and that will open the RA menu.
