I am a long time user of ZSNES, and I made a longplay of a Super Mario World ROM hack using it back in the day. The thing is though, if you are making long in-emulator recordings it eventually glitches out on you. I tried SNES9X recently, thinking that this would be solved. I do believe that it would have been, but unfortunately loading saves on that thing opens up a new window. Some hotkeys were also bugging out on me; for these reasons I quit SNES9X, version 1.56 on Windows 10, to be precise. I tried my hands at making a recording in ZSNES with another Super Mario World hack, but the recording stopped if I ended up reloading a save state too much. Resetting my computer did not seem to help, either.
Any ideas of what I should try next? Is there a way to troubleshoot these things? Or should I just can it and go and use bsnes?
