Unfortunately, it's not that it's being blocked, it's that the active subroutine (of moving forward while hovering) doesn't read the input for the dash button and air dash action. It's possible to implement it, but it involves rewriting/expanding the subroutine. It doesn't seem to be something that can be handled with a series of gamesharks.

If you want to give it a go, it's under the "Hover Boots - Still (01)" section of the workbook, in the "Armor-Dash" page.
The subroutine you want somewhere in the is "call 8003B298h". That's the call for the regular Air Dash. Either that or "call 8003906Ch", which will instead pick what available air dash your current armor has (in case you're playing with Hovering with an armor other than the Ultimate)
I see. That explains why the Gameshark code, Infinite_In-Air_Moves never trigger Air_Dash during hovers movement. Thanks a lot.


Hi! Question! I'm very interested in how the different sprite variations were made for X's Ultimate Armor, and the Nightmare Zero recolor. It'd be amazing to play with Nightmare Zero's palette, or a recolored Shadow Armor, for example. Plus I'd love to try to make my own palette swaps for fun! Was it too complicated or time-consuming of a process doing that? Thanks for any info!


It's not a hard process, definitely doable, but I haven't developed any tools or documentation to aid it. It would be manual work I just haven't done yet.

I have a big code refactoring pending for this project, so additional cosmetic options are not a priority. But I might get to that in the future.


Glad to know this is still worked on! And I hope one day that maybe you can share your knowledge as to how to change those palettes! This massive project has made X6 my favourite in the series, and seeing more content, even in the form of custom palettes, would make me so happy. Take care and good luck in your projects! I'm thinking of this:
If the game starts with Zero, he will have to fight Nightmare Zero to get X. Since the real Zero and X don't really meet until the fight with NZ.
Would you consider adding that feature if the project is still going on ?


Does it possible to restore japanese narrator voice from japanese version of intro?
