No more line glitches with tunnels!
I went as slow as I possibly could at the moment a tunnel appeared, I tried this multiple times, and I saw no glitchiness.
Remaining issues: objects appearing through the road on hills, incorrect sprite layering.
I know the incorrect sprite layering is real hardware when it was confirmed on Byuu's forum way back.
Is the objects clipping through hill roads also real hardware? Or at least, are some of them real hardware?
I know one of the previous patches fixed the "non real hardware" object clipping, so I think some of them may be real hardware?

Also wanted to clarify that 0000 with vanilla Dragon Knight 4
displays everything correctly (menu/text box cursor, attract mode), except for blurry text obviously.
The issues are all caused by 1016, but we need it for hi-res... go figure!
